Citizens Observation Patrol
Mission Statement
Citizen's Observation Patrol is a volunteer citizen organization that exists to support the Sheriff's Office by being a deterrent to crime. Members serve only as the eyes and ears of the Sheriff's Office in reporting all suspicious situations and circumstances. The goal of the patrol members is to help in providing a safe, clean community, free of criminal activity, drugs and graffiti. Reducing fear in their neighborhoods is a major goal of the Citizen's Observation Patrol participants. The Sheriff shall serve as the liaison with all Citizens' Observation Patrol groups. Each Sheriff's Deputy shall exert those supervisory controls he or she necessary to promote safety and a successful program in their division area.
Meetings
are held on the 2nd Wed. of Every month in
the EOC room at the Sanpete County Sheriff Office.
